Bridal Hair

What is a bridal trial really?

A bridal trial is a hands on consultation. We experiment, play, look at photos, explore options, this time may include a roller set, or shampoo blow-dry, we may put your hair up or down, curly or straight, sleek or sophisticated and should always include the application of your headpiece, flowers, or hair ornaments, so please bring them to the appointment.

Because time and needs vary from bride to bride, we start with a one hour appointment (we’ve found this is the general amount of time most brides need). If you are unable to decide on your dream style within this time, then we suggest you schedule another trial before the wedding.

Bridal Trial – $100/hour

Day of Bridal Hair – $100

Hair Jewelry and Embelishments– priced upon request

 

Trial and day of wedding hair for attendants and moms:

Blowdry - $50 (with set or ironwork add $10) | Updo - $75

Bridal Makeup

Do I need to have my makeup done professionally?

Some women do their own makeup so well they don’t need us at all, if this is the case you may just want to be aware of the difference a camera makes in makeup. The subtleties of lighting photos taken outdoors versus indoors or both can shed a different look on your face.

The bridal makeup should be camera ready, able to withstand indoor and outdoor lighting, daytime and nighttime, perspiration, tears and a myriad of hugs and kisses.

Makeup Lesson– $70

For the bride that would like to learn camera ready makeup, the makeup lesson is just the thing. Using Aveda’s 100% plant and flower essence derived makeup we will apply & instruct, watch & assist as you apply along with us. If you love the product you use now & would like to use it on your day, we welcome you to come with your own makeup. We’ll be glad to incorporate it into the lesson.

Stress Removal

THE WEEK BEFORE YOUR WEDDING IS THE TIME TO INDULGE IN A LITTLE YOU TIME - THE MASSAGE, THE FACIAL, THE BODY TREATMENT.

Dual Massage – $200 for two

Need time alone with your fiancé before the wedding? Or bonding time with mom before leaving the nest? How about a girlfriend gathering with your maid of honor?

The Dual Massage takes place in our Tranquility room, two tables next to one another, two massage therapists working in tandem to give the ultimate pleasure to you and your loved one. Includes paraffin hand treatments & rosemary foot soaks with a beverage and snack to complete the service.

Classic Aveda Facial – $75

For glowing bridal skin, this treatment provides deep pore cleansing, exfoliation and a penetrating massage under soothing vapors. Extractions are optional. An herbal mask is applied followed by a cool toning mist.

Parafango Body Wrap – $110

This hour long treatment begins with an exfoliation followed by an application of warm parafango: a combination of mud and paraffin. Relax while you are cocooned in blankets and enjoy the deep moisturizing benefits of the parafango. To finish, moisturizer will be massaged into your skin for ultimate softness. You may experience a temporary water weight loss.

For a well-groomed appearance on his big day.

Nail Groom – $15

Refresh your nails with a file and buff.

A therapeutic massage to relax everyday muscular tensions, aches and pains.
